Cathy M. – Croydon, PA

I want to start by stating that I am a registered nurse. I recently suffered a severe back injury with significant clinical findings. My injury was immediately diagnosed by my family chiropractors (Neshaminy Valley Chiropractic). They ordered the appropriate diagnostic testing and referred me to an orthopedic specialist. These chiropractors have coordinated all of my rehabilitative care. Without the varied therapy modalities, strength training and education; I would have been completely incapacitated. They are knowledgeable, competent, professional and ACCESSIBLE. They care about me not just as a patient but also as a person. In my opinion chiropractors practice holistic medicine at its best. It baffles me that this specialty is not utilized to its fullest potential. Their focus is on prevention and education. Complications from chiropractic care are RARE and almost non-existent.

My advice: Practice preventative medicine-talk to a chiropractic doctor before an injury occurs. Listen to their philosophy and discuss their treatment plans-you might be pleasantly surprised.. Most evaluations are FREE; imagine that! Judge for yourself but do not dismiss these wonderful professionals without a solid knowledge base. Give them the respect they deserve.
